Well I have decided to add a new biography on Christina Aguilera since she has done so much in the past two years.

Christina was born on December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York to Fausto and Shelly Aguilera. Shortly after she was born her parents moved until they settled in small town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As a child Christina endured many hard times and many difficult hardships, but she never gave up hope. Her passion for singing grew more and more as she become older. Her grandmother was the first one to realize her talent and said "well wow Shelly would you listen to this girl she's amazing".
Christina performed everywhere. She also sang at local malls, school talent shows, and neighborhood block parties. In 1988 just eight years old Christina became a contestant on Star Search. Although Christina lost and was a heartbroken little girl her mother Shelly never gave up hope on her daughter. She knew Christina had the potential and she wasn't going to stop there.
When Shelly saw an ad that said auditions for the Mickey mouse club were being held, she immediately send in a tape of Christina to them.MMC held on to Christina's tape and immediately selected Christina after her performance. She was on the 1993-1996 cast of the MMC.
In 1998 she sang a song called Reflections' on the Mulan soundtrack which was a Disney hit and producers heard her and were amazed. In 1998 Christina was signed to RCA records. Her single "Genie in a Bottle" went on the way to #1 on the pop charts. She released her debut album on August 24,1999.
Through the past two years Christina had accomplished much. One of which is having all 3 of her albums on the Billboard Top 100 in the same week. Being nominated for a Grammy and winning a Grammy for BEST NEW ARTIST. Having her first US tour last summer which sold out all shows and having three #1 singles. Another big accomplishment was being able to record a Spanish album called "MI Reflejo"and have it debut at #1 and stay there for 19 consecutive weeks. It also did well on the pop charts at #27.
We know there is more to come from this tiny diva, but always expect the unexpected from this singing sensation.
